Before the AI interview starts

You go through eight preparation steps. First, you select the interface language. You then give consent and check the interview details. After that, you select your speaking language, read the control guides, and run the system check.

The interface language applies only to the setup wizard. The speaking language controls speech recognition, the system-check phrase, and the complete live interview screen. Choose the same language in the first and fourth steps unless you need a different combination.

The camera step does not appear for an audio-only interview. If the camera step appears, you must enable the camera and give consent to continue. You cannot turn the camera off after the interview starts.

During the AI interview

The ready microphone is a solid, colored, pressable button. Its color depends on the theme. A grey, faded button is not available yet, so wait instead of pressing it repeatedly. A green pulsing button means your voice is being detected, but recording has not started.

A red button with a stop square means recording is active. An amber button with an amber ring means the AI is speaking, and pressing it interrupts the AI. On some themes, the ready button is also amber. Use the ring and stop icon, not color alone.

You can also use two shortcuts that are not explained on screen:

• Press Space to start or stop the microphone.
• Press Escape to open the end-interview confirmation.

Warnings appear with 5 minutes and 1 minute remaining. The interview ends when time runs out or when you confirm the red phone-off button.

If the page closes

Reopen the same invitation. Answers are saved as you go. Before you reach the resumed question, you must repeat the setup wizard from the beginning, including consent, the guides, and the system check. The camera step also repeats when your AI interview uses it.

Reloading also removes the video recorded in the browser and restarts the timer from the full duration. After setup, a dark confirmation card with a green check and the text “Interview resumed” identifies the restored session.

Do not look for a replacement link

Use the same invitation to continue. Only the recruiting team can give you another attempt, and that attempt uses a new link.

After completion

The AI interview is recorded as complete, and the result becomes available for the recruiting team to review. Follow-up comes from the inviting team through the channel in your invitation. If the completion page promises a results email, do not rely on that message. The system does not send that email automatically.
