Device and browser

Section titled “Device and browser”

Use the device and browser named or supported by your invitation. The task page may check browser capabilities before you start. Contact the inviting team for direction if the page says your device or browser is unsupported.

If the page asks for microphone or camera access, allow it in the browser after you understand the task. Check the site permissions in your browser settings if you denied access earlier.

Connection and environment

  • Choose a reasonably quiet place and use a connection that does not drop often.
  • Close apps or tabs that may use your microphone or camera.
  • Connect your charger if the task may take some time.
  • Run the connection or room check if the task page shows one.

Use one tab

Section titled “Use one tab”

Use one tab for an assessment. A second tab can cause saved answers to conflict. If the page says the assessment is open in another tab, choose one tab and follow the message on screen.

Check the result before you start. Use the available retry control when the microphone, camera, or connection check fails, or contact the inviting team.
