Complete the AI interview

Open the invitation on your prepared device. Complete every on-screen step before pressing Start Interview.

Complete the eight preparation steps

1. On Select Your Preferred Language, choose the setup-wizard language from the dropdown. The English and Indonesian headings and descriptions appear side by side on a wide screen and stack on a phone.

2. On AI Interview Disclaimer, open the Privacy Notice and Terms of Service if needed. Select the legal-document, AI-processing, and data-retention consents separately.

3. On Verify Your Interview Details, read the Candidate Name, Position, Company, and Interview Date. If the name or position is wrong, stop and contact the inviting team. You cannot correct the details on this page.

4. On Select Your Speaking Language, choose English or Bahasa Indonesia. This choice controls speech recognition, the system-check phrase, and the language of the complete interview screen. Choose the same language as in the first step unless you need a different combination.

5. If Camera & Recording Consent appears, enable the camera, grant browser permission, and select the consent checkbox. You cannot continue with the camera off or turn it off after the interview starts.

6. On How to Use the Microphone, follow the animated guide to start recording, speak, stop the recording, and wait for the AI response.

7. On How to End the Interview, read how the interview ends when the timer reaches zero or when you choose the red phone-off button.

8. Run System Check. Say the displayed phrase during the speech-recognition check. Press Start Interview after every check passes.

Check the details before confirming

You can only confirm or stop on the verification page. Contact the inviting team if the name or position is incorrect.

Answer with the microphone

Use the single microphone button at the bottom of the screen:

Button state	Meaning	What to do
Solid, colored, and pressable	The microphone is ready. Color follows the theme.	Press it to start recording your answer.
Grey and faded	The microphone is not available yet.	Wait. Do not keep pressing the button.
Green, pulsing, with a ring	Your voice is detected, but recording has not started.	Press it to start recording.
Red with a stop square	Your answer is recording.	Press it when done to send the answer.
Amber with an amber ring	The AI is speaking.	Listen, or press the button to interrupt it.

On some themes, the ready button is also amber. Use the amber ring to identify the AI-speaking state and the stop square to identify recording. Do not rely on color alone.

The setup guide shows a grey example as the ready button. The live interview button looks different. Follow the states in the table above.

Speak at a normal conversation volume. After stopping the recording, wait for the AI to process your answer and show or speak the next question. If speech recognition changes providers after a failure, the system does this automatically. You do not need to record a completed turn again.

Use the keyboard shortcuts

Two shortcuts are available even though the screen does not mention them:

• Press Space to start or stop the microphone.
• Press Escape to open the end-interview confirmation.

Avoid pressing Space while another control has focus. Check the microphone button state before speaking.

Watch the time and end the interview

The screen warns you with 5 minutes and 1 minute remaining. The interview ends in one of two ways:

1. The timer reaches zero, and the interview ends automatically.
2. You press the red phone-off button, then confirm that you want to end the interview.

Do not close the page while an answer is recording. After the interview ends, wait for the completion page to appear.

If you need to reload

Answers are saved as you go. After reopening the same invitation, you must repeat the setup wizard from the beginning. The wizard repeats consent, both guides, and the seven system checks. The camera step also repeats when your AI interview uses it.

After setup, a dark confirmation card with a green check and the text “Interview resumed” appears before you continue from the question on screen.

Reloading also removes the video already recorded because the video is held only in the browser during the interview. The timer restarts from the full duration. Read the recovery guide before reloading if you can still use the open page.
