• Read the complete invitation. Follow the task type and instructions stated in it.
• If the invitation states a duration, set aside that time and add a margin for setup. Warnings appear with 5 minutes and 1 minute remaining.
• Use a device with a working microphone and a stable internet connection.
• Choose a quiet space. Close other apps that use the microphone or camera.
• Connect a charger if your device needs one.
• Note the channel for contacting the inviting team.

Do not share the invitation link, token, recording, or transcript with anyone.

Recognize the eight preparation steps

The setup wizard always follows this order. The camera step may be skipped, but the order of the other steps does not change.

1. Select the interface language from a dropdown. The English and Indonesian headings and descriptions appear side by side on a wide screen and stack on a phone.

2. Read the AI interview disclaimer. Select three required checkboxes for the legal documents, AI processing, and data retention.

3. Check the Candidate name, position, company, and interview date. The page shows these details as read-only.

4. Select English or Bahasa Indonesia as your speaking language. This choice controls speech recognition and the language of the complete interview screen.

5. If the camera step appears, enable the camera, grant browser permission, and consent to recording.

6. Follow the four-step animated guide to using the microphone.

7. Read the two ways the interview ends, either when the timer expires or when you use the red phone-off button.

8. Run the seven system checks. The Start Interview button remains disabled until all checks pass.

The camera is required when the step appears

An audio-only interview skips the camera step entirely. If the camera step appears, there is no way to continue with the camera off. You must enable the camera and give consent.

Distinguish the two language choices

In the first step, you choose the setup-wizard language from a dropdown. The two language headings and descriptions appear side by side on a wide screen but stack on a phone.

In the fourth step, you choose the language you will speak during the interview. This second choice controls speech recognition, the system-check phrase, the interview screen, recovery cards, resume message, and completion page. Selecting Indonesian in the first step does not automatically select Bahasa Indonesia in the fourth step.

Choose the same language in both steps unless you want the setup wizard and interview screen to use different languages.

Check the details before you continue

The verification page shows Candidate Name, Position, Company, and Interview Date. You must select a checkbox confirming that these details are correct.

You cannot correct the name or position on this page. If a detail is wrong, do not confirm it. Stop the process and contact the inviting team through the channel in your invitation.

Prepare a way to get help

Know how to open site permissions in your browser. You may need to allow the microphone and, when the camera step appears, the camera. If the system check fails, a red panel shows a Retry Checks button. The button runs every check again.
